‘Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers find that Connor Newman has been a character who has brought a lot of excitement and intensity to the show. He has actually caused a lot of drama since he was born on the show. Judah Mackey now plays him and we have some highlights of Connor on the show, in case you missed them.
‘Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: The Newman Clan and Connor
Everyone knows that the Newman clan is hard to handle sometimes, but think about it if you’re a kid! Connor is the son of Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Clair Egan) and Adam Newman (Chris Engen). When Chelsea found out that she was having a baby, her relationship with Adam was on the outs. Instead of telling Adam it was his baby, she told him it was Dylan McAvoy’s (Steve Burton).
Not everything worked out with Chelsea’s plan though. When Connor was born, the doctors noticed that he had an eye disease that was also prominent in the Newman family. Chelsea realized that Adam had mentioned that this eye disease was what made his mother go blind. This is when Adam put it all together and made Chelsea tell him the truth about Connor Newman.
Adam then adopted Connor as his rightful son and Dylan was heartbroken when he had to give up custody of the child. When Dylan had a break down, he ended up kidnapping Connor. He wanted to continue to be his father, but Adam wouldn’t let that happen!
‘Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Eye Condition
As Connor Newman began to age, the doctors noticed more and more problems with his vision and eye condition. He ended up having to have a cornea transplant in order to save his sight. Shortly after, Adam was thought to be dead and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) helped to raise him. Chelsea and Nick ended up developing a relationship as well.
When Connor thought Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) was dead he began to lash out and show his anger and grief. He has been acting out in so many ways since Victor was seen as dead and we don’t know if Chelsea will be able to take it anymore. We will see this week just how much Connor acts out and how seeing Victor alive can change that.
