The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, May 9 finds Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) learning the truth about the night that she was attacked. Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) decides it’s time to leave town while Abby (Melissa Ordway) has plans of her own. Also, Summer (Hunter King) is trying to manipulate Kyle (Michael Mealor) in calling off their divorce.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers Thursday, May 9: Summer Goes To New York With A Kyle, Returns With a Theo? Newcomer Makes First Appearance!
At Jabot, Jack (Peter Bergman) tells Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) about Summer and Kyle’s plans to work with a social media influencer in New York. They also talk about Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and her plans for the future. Jack admits that he had his reservations about working with her. Jack also tells Lauren that his mother has to now wear a GPS bracelet as her health and memory is deteriorating.

In New York, Summer and Kyle meet with a social media expert by the name of Theo (Tyler Johnson). They talk about Jabot’s new marketing strategy. Theo shares some ideas but can’t help but mention that he thinks Summer and Kyle have some great chemistry between them. Theo wants to invite them to a club, but Kyle insists on returning to Genoa City. Summer can’t believe that Kyle said no to him.
Arturo (Jason Canela) appears at Society. He tells Lola that he and Mia have decided to return to Miami. They argue a little about Rey (Jordi Vilasuso), with Arturo saying that if Mia’s baby is not his, he will send her to jail. Lola then guesses that it was Mia who attacked her the night she ended up in the hospital. Elsewhere, Devon (Bryton James) and Abby go over some ideas on how they can honor Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John). Devon admits that on Society’s opening night, that was the first time that he felt like his old self again in a long time.
In the kitchen, Arturo defends Mia. Yet, Lola puts two and two together and remembers wearing Abby’s coat the night she was attacked. She realizes that Mia was after Abby and not her. Abby then appears. Lola and Arturo are shouting at each other before Lola runs out of the room.
Kyle and Summer updated Jack on their meeting in New York. Kyle desperately wants to return to Genoa City. But Summer tells him that he needs to think about his job before Lola. Theo then calls and says that he’s got a client that he wants them to meet. Kyle isn’t going anywhere, with Summer pleased.
At Chancellor Park, Mia cannot believe that Arturo told the truth and that both Lola and Abby know. Arturo is scared that Rey will retaliate. Abby wants to call the cops. But it’s Lola who will press charges.
