The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Summer will have a choice to make. She can do the right thing and donate her liver to Lola, who is in desperate need for someone to save her life. Seeing that she can turn her reputation around, there’s a very good chance that she can turn her wrongs into rights. That, or she might end up following in her mother Phyllis’ footsteps with her self-centered ways. Here’s why.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Summer To Follow In Phyllis’ Footsteps?
The Rosales family, along with a desperate Kyle, have been searching far and wide in Genoa City in hopes that there is someone out there who is a perfect match for Lola. She needs a liver transplant in order to survive. That one person just happens to be her nemesis, Summer Newman.

Summer knows that she’s being put in a difficult situation here. Everyone is counting on her to do the right thing. What’s more, The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Kyle is even willing to marry her in order to persuade her to help Lola. That’s just how desperate he is to help his ex-girlfriend.
For Summer, she’s weighing her options. She knows that it will be a win-win situation for her if she helps save Lola’s life and then gets the dream wedding she’s always wanted. If that weren’t enough, she will also have someone else she’s wanted this entire time: Kyle. But if that happens, Lola will be absolutely crushed. Everyone will draw parallels between Summer and her mother, Phyllis, and how the two women only look out for themselves.
Plus, Summer will always have to live knowing that she was never Kyle’s first choice to begin with. It’s now up to Summer to decide what step she needs to take next. Does she really want to be known as someone who is self-centered like her mother, Phyllis? Fans will find out soon enough. The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on the CBS network.
