The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, March 5th finds that Mariah has her doubts, Victoria and Nikki want to take the stand and Kyle has a very indecent proposal for Summer.

The Young and the Restless Recap: Kyle’s Indecent Proposal For Summer

At Crimson Lights, Nick (Joshua Morrow) thanks Mariah (Camryn Grimes) for taking the stand. He knows that it wasn’t an easy thing to do. Once Nick leaves, Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) appears and says she knows that Nick still hates her. Tessa is also concerned that Victor (Eric Braeden) might come after her with the tape and blackmail. Mariah tries to get their mind off of things and talks about vacation options instead. Both women agree that they would rather be anywhere but Genoa City right now.

Back at the courtroom, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) tells Michael (Christian LeBlanc) that she wants to take the stand. After all, she’s the one who committed the crime. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) also thinks that she should tell her story, seeing how she was JT Hellstrom’s victim. Michael pounds his fist to the table and dismisses both ideas. He says that if Nikki and Victoria take the stand, there’s no doubt that Christine (Lauralee Bell) would skewer them and it would be over. Instead, he suggests that they come up with a plea deal. That way Nikki gets a minimal sentence and Victoria walks free.

At Jabot, Summer (Hunter King) is worried about her mother Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and what might happen next in the courtroom.  All Phyllis can think about is Nick and the nasty look he gave her in court. Kyle (Michael Mealor) arrives with business matters but quickly leaves after he realizes that Summer wants to keep him there and talk to him. Back at Nick’s place, Phyllis tries to reason with Nick. She blames everything on Christine. Nick doesn’t look convinced. He still doesn’t trust her for throwing the other three ladies under the bus and calls her delusional.

At the club, Summer catches up with Kyle. She pleads with him to listen to her. Summer apologizes for her behavior and says that she wants to help Lola (Sasha Calle). Kyle also apologizes and tells Summer that he knows that she’s a good person. He also tells her that he’s willing to do just about anything to save Lola’s life. He even goes as far as to say that he would break up with Lola. If Summer donates her liver, he’ll even marry her. Summer admits that she likes the idea. Lola gets her life back and Summer gets what she always dreamed of – a huge wedding.
