General Hospital spoilers relate that Nancy Lee Grahn is opening up about her life as Alexis on the hit ABC soap. In fact, the stunning actress recently spoke to Soaps in Depth about her character, her history, and some of her wildest moments on the daytime television series.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Nancy Lee Grahn Reflects On Alexis the Character On the Hit ABC Soap
Nancy admits that one of the highlights of her General Hospital career was getting to share a passionate kiss with Maurice Benard, who plays mob boss Sonny Corinthos on the show. After just one night with Maurice, Alexis fell pregnant with her daughter Kristina. Looking back at the scene of the two of them kissing, Alexis said, “Maurice [Benard] actually sucked out my intestines with this kiss, which required a medic.” We don’t know about you, but we can believe it!

Nancy also looked back at a scene from a 2002 fantasy sequence in which her character was pregnant with Sonny’s baby but considering allowing Ned to claim he was the daddy. Grahn joked that during that time, her character looked like she was about to join the road company of Les Mis. Ha! In another scene, Nancy recalled a time in which Alexis posed as the Quartermaine’s butler, Dobson, in order to remain close to her baby, Kristina. The actress joked, “This is how Alexis gets out of jury duty.”
Now, what’s in store for Alexis in the upcoming weeks remains to be seen. Right now, it looks like she has a lot to worry about. Both of her daughters, Kristina and Sam, have been sucked in to Shiloh’s Dawn of Day world. Plus, there’s a possibility that she and Julian might reconnect. Of course, fans will have to tune in to find out what will happen next!
