‘Young and the Restless’ spoilers relate that love might be in the air for many couples in Genoa City, but for our favourite characters things are about to erupt and in more ways than one. Rey and Sharon confess their true feelings for one another, Lola is left blindsided after a surprise that goes terribly wrong and Charlie and Mattie’s plan ends up upsetting their father to the core. Here’s what you need to know.
‘Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Sharon and Rey Confess Love For Each Other
Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) still can’t get over the fact that his wife Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) called out another man’s name during a passionate session of love making right before Valentine’s Day. Of course, that name just happened to be his brother, Arturo. Seeing that there’s no point in trying to fix things with his wife, Rey seeks comfort with Sharon (Sharon Case). He even confesses his love for her.

Unfortunately, that love might die down pretty quickly, especially when Rey discovers the truth about what Sharon did the night JT Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill) supposedly died. While taking a look at her phone records, he sees that Sharon made a 911 call the same night that JT disappeared. Sharon tries to cover her tracks, but Rey doesn’t look like he believes anything that she is telling him. Meanwhile, Mia confesses to Arturo (Jason Canela) her little mishap in bed and why Rey stormed out on her.
Back at the Abbott mansion, Lola (Sasha Calle) tells Jack (Peter Bergman) that she is having second thoughts about her relationship with Kyle (Michael Mealor). She still loves him and is hoping for a second chance. Jack tells her that he is at the cabin and Lola makes a beeline for it. Unfortunately, she finds that Kyle is not alone. It appears that he is embracing Summer Newman (Hunter King), leaving Lola absolutely furious. Clearly, Kyle is not the man that she thought he was.
Elsewhere, Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) and Charlie (Noah Alexander Garry) come up with an unexpected surprise for their father, Cane (Daniel Goddard). They write a very touching story about Cane and their mother Lily (Christel Khalil) and their love for one another. It’s too much for an emotional Cane to handle and he ends up breaking down in tears. What’s more, he blames his wife for not being there for him when he needs her the most. Both Mattie and Charlie feel as though they’ve made their father’s Valentine’s Day even worse for him.
