‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers relate plotting, a cry for help, and bad news in Salem. If you missed Days of Our Lives, you can catch up with your Days of Our Lives recap right now to get the highlights.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Ben’s Cry For Help, Is He Close To Relapsing?

Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) has realized he went just a little too far with Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan) yesterday. Because of this, he seeks out Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) for some help. Seems that he feels like he’s losing some control lately, partially due to his job loss and definitely with the Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) situation.

Melissa Reeves sits down to talk all things Jack and shares her thoughts on becoming the Horton matriarch. Then, Paul Telfer and Greg Rikaart give us the inside scoop on Xander and Leo.https://t.co/G1aBQxVJis pic.twitter.com/YAGpfb2U3S

He confesses exactly what happened between them, and swears that he didn’t hurt Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) at all. He says that Ciara didn’t give him the chance to explain he’d gone to the DiMera place to quit. Marlena’s worried, because Ben should know he can’t put all of his worth on another person. She asks to see him a couple times a week and whether he’s taking those all-important meds.

He admits to skipping some doses, as money is scarce when a whole town is against you. She reminds him how important those meds are and writes him a prescription to get them free at the hospital pharmacy. We think she should write one for chill pills and give them out like candy in Salem. If someone else doesn’t start giving Ben a break (and support), they might have another killing spree on their hands…

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Change in plans and career moves

Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) is getting grief this episode after Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) catches her on the phone with Ted Laurent (Gilles Marini). He doubts Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will appreciate her spending time with the guy. She insists there is nothing going on between them, but when Ted arrives, she makes an awesome slip in front of Eli.

She tells Ted they’ll have to make this a “quickie” before correcting that they need to make this meeting quick. Turns out that Ted has learned about the DA job being open and wants a shot. Apparently, Hope makes him want to be better. Plus, he says it might be nice to put bad guys away instead of trying to get them off.

Before they can really discuss it much more, Hope gets a call from Theo Carver (Kyler Pettis) saying that Ciara took an early flight home. Hope gets worried when she learns that flight should’ve landed hours ago. She asks for the flight information and prepares to jump into protective mom mode.

She should be worried, because we learn that Ciara is actually tied up somewhere with a mystery person. We can’t help wondering if this situation (should she get out of it) will make her think twice before running away next time someone betrays her.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Mommy Dearest problems

Will Horton (Chandler Massey) might have made a costly mistake today. While Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) is at home getting crap from Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) about bringing Diana Cooper (Judith Chapman) to town, Will is trying to get Diana to talk. This might have been a huge misstep.

Diana seems to take to Will well enough, and even offers a little background on Leo. Seems Leo’s family comes from money, and he was spending way too much. She decided to cut him off for his own good, although she briefly finances a foray into art until she realizes his work was something not even his momma could love. Will is loving the insight and actually tells Diana about their problem.

He begs for her to help them because what Leo is doing is wrong. She appears sympathetic, but Leo is her son. Diana would need to know his side of the story first. After all, how’s she to know they didn’t actually try to kill him? Interestingly enough, she reacts strongly when Will told her about the Ted connection. While she denies knowing Ted at all, she seems to be particularly affected by him representing Ben before. Hmm… we think the plot just got a lot thicker.

Ben to the rescue? For Ciara's sake, we hope so. #DAYS pic.twitter.com/j3cOrk8uvW

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Love in the air

On a lighter note, Eli has arranged a surprise for Lani Price (Sal Stowers). He rented Julie Williams’ (Susan Seaforth Hayes) place for a couple of hours and decorated it to bring a little Miami to Lani, as she couldn’t get away for a bit to chase warmer weather. We’re loving these two and their banter, which leads to them both admitting their feelings.
