‘General Hospital’ spoilers relate that date night was a failure, twins, and secrets were big topics this Wednesday in Port Charles. In case you couldn’t catch all the General Hospital spoilers, we’re here with the highlights in your daily General Hospital recap.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Date Night’s A Bust

Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) and Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) leave Wiley in the care of Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) so they can get some much-needed alone time. Brad seems to be the one most pushing this thing, as a way of giving them a little time to themselves. A great idea in theory, but occasionally doesn’t work in practice. Lucas can’t seem to stop thinking of the little one, and Brad soon falls into the same trap.

They both seem relieved to end the night. Brad gets nervous when he calls Michael to tell him they’re coming back and learns he’s at Julian Jerome’s (William deVry) place. He offers to go get the baby while Lucas goes to check on Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan). Lucas agrees, so long as Brad doesn’t dawdle and hog the kid.

When Brad arrives to pick up Wiley, he gets to meet Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). He’s about to engage her in some kid talk when Julian comes along and asks to speak to Brad alone. Earlier, Willow had been upset at Julian, because her wish was for him not to be around her kid. To be fair to Julian, he had nothing to do with Michael deciding to get takeout from his place. Anyway, he warns Brad that Willow believes Wiley to be the child she gave up. Can we say awkward?

    ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Being Normal

Also on a night out is Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) and Drew Cain (Billy Miller). He ran into her in the same place Lucas and Brad were enjoying their date night. She and Drew decide to have their dinner together, embracing the idea of just being normal parents for one night. They talk a little bit about Oscar Nero (Garren Stitt) going back to school and how she somewhat misses the days when Oscar was little like Wiley.

She’s glad, though, that Oscar is back at school and getting into a routine while also doing his best to live to the fullest. Talk later turns to Scout and her birth story. Drew feels somewhat guilty, but Kim assures him she’s fine and that the story was actually very inspirational. He’d saved his daughter’s life. And we’re suddenly wondering if there’s any foreshadowing in this conversation…

Speaking of Oscar and more secrets in this episode, he and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) are at Julian’s as well to do their homework. They end up seeing Michael and decide to say hello. That quickly turns to their misadventure trying to find the catacombs, so Josslyn excuses herself to get some hot chocolate. She uses the opportunity to that Julian for stepping back as she asked him to. She thinks it means a lot to Oscar to be able to have more time with his mother. Hmm. Wonder if that little bit of interference is going to come back on her at some point.

General Hospital’ Spoilers: Twins and Lies

Not-Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) has been a busy boy since he failed to finish off Lulu in her hospital bed. He got an urgent call from Ferncliff and arrives to find the real Kevin Collins unconscious. The real Kevin awakes in a panic, as he was suddenly struck blind as well.

The nurse on duty is shocked that Not-Kevin asks her to leave the room. She argues that protocol would dictate they get treatment for their suddenly blind patient. He orders her to leave, and we’re wondering two things. One, how in the world has he managed to get around them being twins, especially when Ryan Chamberlain has been believed to be dead for over twenty years. Two, why would she take his orders over the obvious legal protocol?

Anyway, once they’re alone, Ryan takes the opportunity to question his brother about what exactly happened to him, as well as his dealings with Cabot. The real Kevin explains that the doctor had made contact with him about research into twins, but he never got many details, because he’d had no interest in getting involved. Ryan taunts his brother about what happened to Lulu, and the real Kevin is glad he’s getting divorced from Laura Webber (Genie Francis).

Kevin fills him in on Laura becoming Mayor, and lets his brother know he’s leaving town once the divorce is final. The real Kevin assumes that’s because he’s expecting a huge payout from the prenup, but Ryan had no idea about that. Lucky for him, his brother was so very helpful. We’re guessing that Ryan is going to push to change that deal he and Laura supposedly made to take what they came into the marriage with.

Seems Not-Kevin had that brotherly chat just in time, because Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) aren’t finished with him yet. After realizing that her own twin had dealings with Arthur Cabot, Anna sends Not-Kevin a message to come meet with them. They question him, and Not-Kevin apologizes for not giving this info upfront, but he’d forgotten. He repeats what the real Kevin told him, and the next we see these characters, Not-Kevin is gone. Robert and Anna are a little suspicious, because they felt he was too defensive and wanted to leave too quickly.
