‘Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, July 29 finds Michael Bennett (Christian LeBlanc) trying to destroy Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) blackmail photos. He also reveals that he’s got big plans for the future. Meanwhile, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) goes face to face with Adam while Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) decides to move forward with her plans. Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) gets surprising news.
‘Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, July 29: Daryl Tulane’s Shocking Move, Has Major Surprise For Chelsea!
It begins at Adam’s penthouse, where he tells Michael to pick up a special delivery. Michael wants all of the evidence destroyed. Adam is disappointed and angry that they were supposed to guarantee him custody of Christian and that the plan didn’t work. He tells Michael that he’s now a part of the dark side with him. Adam tells him that they can’t afford any more screw ups so late in the game.
Chelsea runs in to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) at the place where they were supposed to build their new home together. Nick reveals that he had to put some distance between him and Adam and that he didn’t want to hurt him. Chelsea makes a comment about what kind of beautiful future they would have had together if things worked out their way. Nick says that he offered to build a house for Summer Newman (Hunter King) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) before their divorce. He now calls it the land of broken dreams. Nick also tells Chelsea that he would like for her to bring Connor back.

Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) wants to iron out a few things with Rey. She admits that she misses him. However, she doesn’t understand why helping Adam with Christian is such a bad thing. She also tells Rey that she has pity for Adam, but Rey doesn’t seem to believe it. Sharon hits back and says that all of Rey’s insecurities are because of his ex-wife Mia.
At Crimson Lights, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) tells Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) that he’s okay with Christian living with them. They then talk about business. Billy doesn’t think it’s a good idea for Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) to work together. Sharon runs in to Billy later. He admits that he would rather talk to her than to a therapist. Billy admits that he’s living in a constant nightmare and that things aren’t getting better for him.
At the Dark Horse, Phyllis is on the phone with someone and tells them to “make it happen.” She has a new plan in mind. Also, back at Nick’s apartment a man by the name of Daryl Tulane (Gordon Thompson) appears. He tells Chelsea that he’s about to make her a very rich woman. She’s left by surprise.
