Instead of working for the monarchy, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle listened to people who wanted to make money off them and the PR people behind the scenes, securing deals that would supposedly earn them millions of dollars and propel their fame.
While it appeared that Meghan would help modernize the monarchy, she would have never sacrificed her independence to be part of the royal family.
Meghan was angry that the Palace staff didn’t protect her when the British tabloids wrote negative stories about her.
She didn’t understand why she wasn’t worshipped and loved the way she was in America. This was long before Harry and Meghan were parodied on South Park and Family Guy.

Meghan made demands on the Palace staff. She wanted their help to retaliate against her detractors. She couldn’t see beyond herself.

The Queen, who made it clear that there was to be no half-in, half-out deals, must be rolling in her grave. Meghan was listening to her PR team in America the entire time she was a royal. She was told that she should be celebrated and elevated, not criticized by the British media.
It also doesn’t help that Harry has always compared Meghan to his mother, Princess Diana. Harry claims that the paparazzi went after Meghan the way they went after his mother.
Meghan fueled the comparisons, as her goal and ambition were to be treasured like Diana. The more Harry drew parallels between the two women, the more convinced Meghan was of her importance to the monarchy.
Tom Bower points out that Diana knew that individual royals needed to conform so the monarchy wouldn’t lose its legitimacy. Diana earned the public’s love because of her commitment to the monarchy and years of hard work.
“Unlike Meghan, Diana never needed to seek money or fame.”
Her PR team also weaved the tale that Meghan was irreplaceable and represented the monarchy’s future. They wanted her to capitalize on her role in the royal family.
Meghan Didn’t Understand The Line Of Succession
She also didn’t seem to comprehend that she was married to the sixth in line to the throne. Meghan was married to the spare, not the heir. Kate was married to the future King, not her.
Meghan didn’t understand that as time passed, her importance to the monarchy would diminish, as would Harry’s.
Meghan’s ruthlessness and relentless pursuit of money and fame led her to make stupid decisions. She thought stepping down as a working royal in January 2020 would lead to her ultimate success.
Her PR team whispered in her ear that she could gain millions from her activism. All she needed was an American foundation to deposit the funds.
The couple initially moved to Canada, while Meghan was securing deals with Netflix and Spotify. Her PR team assured her that she had the same opportunities for success as the Obamas.
They were expected to use their royal status in books and TV shows. Their first step was the interview with Oprah.
In the end, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle lost, and the monarchy won. Their deal with Spotify was axed, and Spotify executive Bill Simmons called them “f***ing grifters.” Their Netflix deal is a joke.
America has now ostracized the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. They followed the worst advice possible, and now they are seen as the complete fools that they are.
