Welcome to Plathville spoilers finds that last week, we were introduced to the Plaths, Barry and Kim, and their nine children. Not only do not they not have television or technology, they haven’t been exposed to a lot of popular culture. One of the things that the Plaths have kept from their children is the culture of the LGBTQ community and now, Moriah has seen it and is very interested.
Welcome to Plathville Spoilers: Olivia and Moriah’s California Trip
Olivia is the sister-in-law of Moriah. She is married to Moriah’s oldest brother, Ethan. On Tuesday’s episode, we saw these took taking a trip to California together. If memory serves you correctly, you’ve already noticed that Olivia is shaking things up with the Plath family and feels the children have been too sheltered in their lives. This trip just adds to the changes that Olivia is trying to make to their lives.
Welcome to Plathville Spoilers: A Shock to the Plath’s – Moriah is Exposed to LGBTQ Culture
Moriah was extremely interested in one of the first tours they did because she had never seen an openly gay culture. This is just not something they see a lot of in South Georgia. Their tour guide talked about gay bars and discussed the LGBTQ flag. Moriah didn’t know what it meant and was happy to find out!
Moriah talked openly on the show about how her parents would never approve of her learning about these things and it was something that they had kept from her growing up. After hearing about all of the information on the tour, this made Moriah think quite a bit. She knew that she always felt different than her parents, but now she was aware that her opinions and theirs are extremely different.
The Plath family has mentioned that Moriah is the opinionated child in the family and this will probably cause more of a rift with her and her parents. On the show, she did admit that she thinks people can love whom they want to and it shouldn’t matter who they are. She also admitted that her parents have blinded her to the outside world by teaching their ways of life.
This episode has really made fans fall in love with Moriah! We cannot wait to see just what else she brings to her parents. We enjoy that at least one child has these opinions and we think that it can really cause some changes in the family.
