The opening exchange of the most recent episode of Welcome to Plathville me us wonder, could Ethan and Olivia Plath potentially be open to the idea of a Polyamorous relationship? The reason we get that vibe is how the whole exchange went about Ethan getting a girls’ number at the bar.
For one thing, Olivia didn’t seem all that ticked off or betrayed by it, in fact it had a very college roommate “Did you score last night?” feel to it, almost like they weren’t even married, but simply roommates cohabitating together.
Could Ethan and Olivia Plath potentially be poly?
Ethan, poor Ethan, he was honest to a fault and straight up told her that he scored a girl’s number at the bar last night and said that he put it in his pocket because he didn’t know what to do with it.
Olivia said that next time, just leave it on the bar or throw it away and not to bring it home – okay so maybe she was just making allowances for his extremely sheltered upbringing but Ethan has a tendency to smile when he knows he’s made Olivia unbelievably angry, the same kind of smile that he had over the car is the same kind of smile he had when describing getting a girl’s number.
We get that Olivia pulled a complete Jackie O, hid her true feelings and just said that she couldn’t control what Ethan did, only how she reacted to it. True, but this is one time in which no one would have judged her for getting emotional.
Although, she did drop a bomb on Ethan telling him that she had been given numbers by men before but she always left them on the bar and never brought them home, because putting the number in your pocket means that you’re interested. Ethan thought that it only meant that you were interested if you called the person later, nope, he’s way behind on the times.
However, since Olivia didn’t seem to bat an eye… does that mean that they wouldn’t mind someone joining the party? Maybe Ethan should contact Kody Brown for some tips. Stay tuned!!!
