TLC ’90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way’ spoilers finds that as we all know, Yazan, Brittany Banks’s fiance from 90 day fiancé the other way comes from a strict muslim culture. A culture that forbids drinking, and, as it would seem, too much physical contact, especially between opposite genders. This was especially illustrated in the latest episode of 90 day fiancé the other way when Brittany’s bag fell open revealing a bottle of alcohol, which made Yazan freak way the hell out. He totally flipped, screaming, cussing, honestly, other than a southern baptist minister I’ve never seen anyone flip out more over the sight of a bottle of alcohol before!
Brittany was very quick to say that the way Yazan was behaving made her think of her ex-husband. She is not about that life and says that if he behaves like that then she wants nothing to do with him. I honestly can’t say that I blame her. I don’t see how Yazan honestly thought that she was going to go from partying it up in Florida to being the perfect Muslim wife in one airplane ride. From the previews he is already exhibiting worrisome behavior, yelling at her in the car when she’s telling him to get the cigarette out of her face, because let’s face it, who wants that? And just overall freaking out.

As far as I know, and I am completely uneducated on Muslim culture the only thing that would have happened if the bottle of alchohol had been discovered by a member of Yazan’s family, would have been one of social awkwardness. But he took that way over the top. He should have been more forgiving because it’s common in American culture to bring someone a bottle of wine as a gift. The thing is we don’t know how open he has been about the strictness of his culture in the past with Brittany. Considering how uncomfortable he was talking to his Dad about it, he looks like he hasn’t really told her anything at all and just let her do her thing while in Florida.
It looks like Yazan is this season’s next Stephanie. He’s so uncomfortable about standing up to his parents that this is looking to be a pretty miserable trip for Brittany. I must admit I myself don’t get the party girl lifestyle that Brittany has embraced but I do feel sorry for her, she seems like she is very vivacious and full of life and it looks like while Yazan is all about the outside package he may not like the Brittany that he finds within and that could prove disasterous for this relationship. Let me reiterate, I feel sorry for Brittany because it was pretty clear that Yazan failed to educate her on just how restrictive his culture could be. What’s it going to be when his parents fully expect her to get married within days of landing? Stay tuned!!!
