TLC ’90 Day Fiancé’ spoilers finds that Kenny and Armando definitely needed someone to step up and say it to this one patron in La Mission when they were out with Kenny’s family at a resteraunt. Armando was previously scared to come out and has said so on many occassions that he was afraid to be openly affectionate with Kenny while in his home country of Mexico because people were not accepting of the LGBT community.
So far, we had seen no evidence of it besides a few side-eyes from people on the street. However last night, the evil that is homophobia decided to take human form and hurl a homophobic slur at them in spanish.

Kenny and Armando, were doing nothing besides eating and conversing with family, it’s not like they were openly engaging in a PDA, and even if they were, what business is it of this guy’s? They were sitting there simpyl discussing their future plans to be together, which probably meant that the guy understood enough English to realize that they were planning a wedding, but still chose to be cowardly enough to say, in Spanish, a language that he doubted they could understand, his little homophobic opinion.
You could see Armando’s heart sink, you could feel his fear when he said, “Oh, there it is.” after the guy said it. He then proceeded to tell Kenny and the fam about what they just experienced (because none of them knew spanish to realize that the guy was insulting them) and that’s when Kenny got heated.
He said, “I wish I had known what he said, I would’ve gone over there and said something to him.”, but Armando told him no, that he would only cause a fight and that he didn’t want him to get hurt. You have to admire Armando not wanting them love of his life to get hurt, but at the same time it would have been extremely cathartic to watch Kenny deck this guy.
It’s 2020, homophobia shouldn’t have a place in the world anymore, we have enough to worry about as it is. We can only hope that both Kenny and Armando continue to stay safe down in Mexico. Stay tuned!!!
