TLC ’90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days’ finds that we met Erika Owens and Stephanie Matto, the first same-sex couple ever in the history of the franchise. These two are finally with each other in Australia and it looks like their true colors are starting to come out. TLC ’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: ‘Before the 90 Days’ – Stephanie Calls Out Erika
The newest spoilers for the next episode of ’90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days’ shows the couple having a nice dinner and that’s when Stephanie starts in with Erika. Stephanie tells her that she saw her scrolling on her phone to find a picture and that she also saw a dating app on her phone. She asked Erika about the app and Erika told her, “I still have one of the dating apps because there’s a business network side of that app, but I don’t use the relationship side of that app.” Erika does work as a photographer, so we could see how she uses apps for work, but it doesn’t seem like a relationship app is the best place to get photography work.

Stephanie then asks her to take the app off of her phone. Erika does so, but looks really annoyed. “If you don’t have faith in me then how is this going to work, you know?” Erika deletes the app and the two of them go about their meal, but there is still an odd feeling in between the women. Off camera, Erika says, “Steph asking me to delete this app suggests to me that she doesn’t trust me at all and I think she’s going about this in a completely inappropriate way.
Steph has been able to talk to the press a bit about being in the first same-sex couple of ’90 Day Fiancé’. She told ET, “I feel like there’s a lot of pressure–you don’t want to let anybody down. You don’t want to let down the LGBTQ community and a part of me wants to be, like, great representation for this community, but also I think we all just need to realize we’re just like any other couple. We’re gonna have just similar problems to all the other couples on the show.
