TLC ’90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days’ spoilers finds that we met David Murphey and his girlfriend, Lana. It took us a while to meet Lana, but on last Sunday’s episode, we finally saw her and so did David! During this season of TLC’s big hit series, viewers watched as David waited and waited for this woman to show up. Some of his behaviors seem very odd to some fans though. Some fans have thought that he has stalker behaviors. What do you think? We have a little more insight into this.

When David first appeared on the show, we all thought that Lana was a catfish. She and David have been chatting online for seven years and they never met. David flew out to Ukraine many times and she always stood him up. No wonder we thought she was fake. Well, she’s not fake, but the ways that David decided to find her were a little bit scary to some.

Think about this…If you meet someone online and they stand you up, do you try to find out where they live? Do you show up at the address that you have for them? Does it feel like you’re a stalker if you ever thought about it? To some, David’s behaviors do seem like he has stalker tendencies. David showed up at the place where he thought she lived and without her approval. This doesn’t seem normal or all right in the grand scheme of things, does it? When Lana stood him up yet again, David decided to hire a private investigator. When the PI told him that she had multiple dating site accounts, he didn’t believe him and he fought against him until he fired him. Hiring a PI also seems to be taking things a little too far. Doesn’t that seem like a stalker move?
Fans have even called him out on this. One fan wrote to him, “It’s painful to watch you. If you are acting obtuse on purpose, please have more self-respect. You come across as lonely and desperate, holding onto a dream that wants nothing to do with you.” Murphey said to the fan, “I don’t control editing.” Viewers had a lot to say about David and his bizarre, yet stalker behaviors. One wrote, “Yeah, he’s gone from delusional to falling off the deep end. This is actually making me uncomfortable and angry.” Another wrote, “He’s just so obsessive. It’s really creepy.”
