Sally has officially had it with Billy and his harebrained schemes to best Victor. Sally recently walked out on Billy and gave Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) a heads-up that Billy was about to self-destruct, like Billy always does.
Interestingly, Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) contacted Billy to tell him that their deal was off. Billy had a shocked look on his face, as if someone had just run over his puppy, and the development genuinely shook him.
That said, fans still want to see Sally and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) together. The pair had explosive chemistry and shared a unique connection.
Adam and Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) relationship hasn’t exactly been a hit with viewers.
The couple shares a history and a child, Connor Newman (Judaj Mackey). However, fans also recall the time when Sally lost her baby with Adam.
The scenes where Sally became hysterical once she learned that her daughter had died were gut-wrenching. We think that the death of Sally’s baby may have been the turning point for them.
We know that Chelsea and Adam cheated on Billy and Sally together. The couple’s swap was uninspired and resulted in months of us watching Sally continually try to talk Billy down from a ledge.
Billy’s perpetually reckless behavior ultimately drove a wedge between Billy and Sally. Billy’s acceptance of Cane’s deal disappointed Sally.

Spoilers suggest that Sally will receive comfort from Adam, which is likely to make Chelsea extremely jealous. That said, we don’t see Billy backing down and letting Adam get close to Sally again.
Plus, Chelsea has also been making poor decisions that are unlike her and don’t align with her values. Adam has convinced Chelsea that the hit piece published on Billy was done for the greater good, but we’d be willing to bet she doesn’t feel the same way.
Chelsea had always tried to change Adam, but his ruthless side may ultimately be what comes between them. As time passes, Chelsea will start to doubt the choices she has made and the lines she has crossed for Adam.
Many fans believe that Adam and Sally are meant to be together. It’s evident that Adam still cares deeply for Sally. The other day, when Sally ran into Adam and Chelsea at Society, they sensed that something was wrong.
Adam instinctively knew that Billy was the source of the problem. He went off about Billy and told Sally that she was the very best person to work with, and he was too blind to see it.
Sally didn’t explain and left the restaurant abruptly. It’s likely only a matter of time before Sally gravitates toward Adam. Billy is too self-centered and stubborn to be with Sally. Adam and Sally should give their romance another shot.
