‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Jordi Vilasuso (Rey Rosales) is going to be leaving the show and that leaves a lot of unanswered questions. Namely, how are they going to write him off, and what will happen with his marriage? I think I have an idea of how they could do it, but it’s a little dark.
Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) says he is ready to return to work, but we’ve already seen him have a panic attack while playing with Dominic in his living room. We saw it on the night of his stakeout as well. It definitely doesn’t appear as though he’s ready, and this could be costly for Rey.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Will Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) End Up Getting Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) Killed When He Returns To Work?
Simply having Rey leave Genoa City would have several complications. For one, he’s married to Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), and has a good job here. Unless something catastrophic were to happen, why would he walk away from all of this? Making me assume that Rey will have to be killed off.
With Chance returning to work, I think we could see a moment where Chance panics, doesn’t react, and Rey ends up dying either saving him or from lack of Chance intervening. It’s going to be a serious moment, and it will mess up Chance even more, but I believe that is how they will have to do it.
There’s still no date marked for when Vilasuso will be leaving the show, but I suspect it will be sooner rather than later because of all the announcements made. Will you miss Rey and what was one of your favorite moments that involved him?
