‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that the truth is out there, however, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is losing the upper hand and burning his own relationships in the process. Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) and his own daughter, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) are threatening that they will never forgive Victor for his current actions.

However, Victor has his heart set on one thing, and that’s proving that Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) doesn’t, and never did have cancer. Though, getting that evidence has been a bit tricky, and while his relationships burn, he remains steadfast in the hope to find something soon.

Though, many viewers have wondered. Why go about this so covertly? At this point, why not challenge Ashland to get tested and checked out by Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) himself! Nate is flirting with the line of wanting to believe his friend, and this would be a great way to motivate him to stay in medicine.

If Ashland says no, they could assume he’s lying, however, if he said yes, it would take an incredible act to conceal his results in that type of controlled environment. If he wouldn’t agree, there’s always the option of trying to get some blood for a blood test.

According to Healthline.com and other medical sites, there are new blood tests coming out all the time that can detect different types of cancer. According to one fact-checked article, Galleri is a new blood test that has the ability to detect 50 types of cancer in a single blood draw.

So, there are options aside from drawing this out into a long covert storyline. Of course, this is a soap opera, and we feed off the drama created within, so it looks like Victor will do it his way.

What do you think? What is Nate going to do and would you like to see him side with the Newmans? Let us know in the comments below.
