‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers suggest that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) may feel quite conflicted about the situation at Newman Enterprises. All that she has accomplished for the family company may be ancient history if she follows through on her threat to walk. Will she be able to put her feelings for Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and stick with Newman or will she head off to something new?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Big Ol’ Mess
Y&R’s Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) hatched a plan to catch a traitor at Newman Enterprises. He felt like he wanted to see if there were any threats against him. Victor decided to pretend that he was losing his mental capacity.
He made purposeful mistakes, and his kids really began to believe that something was wrong with him. Adam made an appointment with a doctor, hoping to get his father some help. Y&R’s Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) came out more strongly, recommending that Victor get some help at a state-of-the-art facility.
When Victor questions what would happen to the company, Nate pushes for Victoria to get her position back. Victor demoted Victoria recently and took the CEO chair back for himself. Instead of supporting Nate’s idea, Victoria does believe that Adam’s suggestion of quiet help at home would be better for their father.
Victor then drops the bombshell that it was all a ruse, and he fires Nate for trying to overthrow him and put Victoria back in charge. All is chaos in the aftermath of Victor’s announcements.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: What’s Next?
Victor wants all his children back at Newman Enterprises. He is impressed that Adam didn’t try to take over the company in his illness, even though Adam admitted that was his original intent. Adam didn’t want to play fair and nice as Nate’s assistant. He was looking for a way to manipulate the situation, but when he grew concerned about his father’s health, he decided that was the most important thing.
Even though Victor knows that Adam wasn’t honestly wanting to start from the bottom up and earn his trust, he still is considering Adam’s recent behavior as the best thing. He wants all three Newman children working together and for the arguing and bickering to stop.
Victoria says that if Adam is given a position high up in the company she will walk. She threatens her father with this but after she leaves, he says he does not care. If any of them won’t get with his plan, they can leave. He is not adjusting for any of them.
What do you think Victoria will do? Will she really be able to walk away from Newman and all her accomplishments just to avoid working with Adam? Is she strong enough to do that? Will Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) be able to convince her to stay?
