This long battle is far from over, and it will take the support of her entire family to fight through this successfully.
At the end of the Thursday, January 9 episode, there was a public service announcement from CBS Cares and the American Cancer Society that featured actress Sharon Case as a way to spread awareness and early warning signs. The American Cancer Society is dedicated to saving and celebrating lives and leading the fight for a world without cancer. A small part of its ability to help comes in the form of breakthrough research, free lodging near treatment, a 24/7/365 live helpline, free rides to treatment and convening powerful activists to create awareness and impact. It truly leads the front lines of fighting back against this disease.
