‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers here and we’re ready to get the new week started and we have some fun spoilery goodies to share.

The episode for Monday, May 5 looks like it’s going to be an interesting one as there’s going to be some threats and misunderstandings.

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will be smarting since Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) fired her.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, May 5: Phyllis Warns Retribution on Billy and Sally for Firing Her; Kyle Has a Plan to Placate Victor

She’ll kick it up a couple of notches when she learns Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) took her place. Things will go south in a hurry.

Things are going to get interesting pretty quickly.

Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will take some initiative and look up some houses to move into. This won’t sit well with Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) as she’ll see it as a red flag.

Well, maybe not so much of a red flag as an overstep, but it’ll get them talking and that’s important.

What’s interesting is Kyle will have an idea that could cool Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) some. We think it’ll do the opposite, and that would be pretty fun.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Monday, May 5: Phyllis wants payback

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers expected Phyllis to hit the roof when she found out Sally took her job.

It’s the easiest wager to make since Phyllis was already on the verge of having a breakdown. So, it makes sense that Billy’s attempt to help her and let her heal backfires.

Phyllis won’t hesitate to let Billy and Sally know how she feels. She also won’t let them wonder if she’s coming for them or not when she’ll promise they’ll regret tossing her aside.

We’re going to have a few tubs of popcorn ready for this one.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Monday, May 5: Looking for a way In

Kyle’s going to get into a little trouble with Claire after he looked at some apartments without her. She feels it’s important for them to do it together so no one has more say over it.

It makes sense and Kyle will apologize, though he will have an idea of a way to get to Victor. He’ll float the idea of buying Adam Newman (Mark Grossman)’s old place.

The idea is it’ll help ease Victor’s mindset toward their relationship. That may look good on paper, but we doubt Victor will be in a generous mood.

In fact, we expect the offer to push him over the edge, though he could think it’ll help him to get them to relax their guard.

What does Phyllis have in mind for Billy and Sally? Let us know in the comments below.
