‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that things are going to heat up more as not only will Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) be aware of her mother being alive, but Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is going to have some feelings about the situation as she has been extremely critical and downright offensive toward Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).
As we all know, Diane was framed and did not in any way, shape or form poison Phyllis. Of course, while Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Kyle stood by Diane, Summer went as far as going to see her in jail just to mock and ridicule her.
Now, we understand the stress and emotions that must have been flowing through Summer, but was there really any reason for her to do that?

Kyle is surely feeling frustrated about how Summer has treated his mother, especially after how many years of him tolerating Phyllis? He must feel like he’s in the middle of a one-way street in this relationship and this may be the cherry on top.
There is no secret that they have been struggling even before this and their relationship was beginning to fade away beforehand.
We think that Kyle could be preparing to hand Summer some papers that state he is ready for a divorce. This relationship surely isn’t going to last if they keep acting this way and Summer’s behavior has been, for lack of a better word, disgusting.
She is her mother’s child and has demonstrated that time and time again. Sadly for Kyle, this won’t be the first time he’s been divorced, and probably not the last!
This could very well be the end of Kyle and Summer, and sorry to say, but it is kind of Summer’s fault. She should definitely have checked her emotions, even in the stressful event she found herself in. We don’t think Kyle is going to be able to forget how she has treated his mother.
