‘The Young And The Restless (Y&R)’ spoilers show that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) has expressed his love for Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and told her he doesn’t want to be alone anymore. Because of her, he believes he set the bar too high and won’t find another woman like her.
Well, you’re kind of right Jack, you can find someone way better. While Phyllis played this off as him having a few too many drinks, a part of me thinks that she’s still going to entertain this idea and whether out of love or pity may want to go back with Jack in his time of need. This would set up the possibility of Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) confronting Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) again and having the stars align perfectly.

While Phyllis has been spending a lot of time with Jack already and was at his house all hours of the night on today’s show, I don’t think Nick was really concerned about it until now. I think he’s finally starting to realize that there might be something there. While Phyllis may not admit it, or want to admit it, it appears she’s still in love with Jack and much as he can’t get it to go away, I think it was still in her as well.
We’re on the verge of a huge game of partner swap, and it looks like Phyllis could end up back with Jack while Nick tries to win back Sharon. Of course, this leaves Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) at the end of the whole thing again, alone and unaccounted for.
