‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that while Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) made her way all the way across the ocean to find Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd), she never accounted for the fact that he may want to stay behind and finish his work.
This is exactly what Chance did and now we’ve had Abby trying to convince him to come home to his family instead of continuing on with his mission. Chance’s attitude has sparked a lot of debate amongst fans, and it makes it feel like he doesn’t have any emotional connection with the child or to being a father.

Fans commented on the clip, “I feel like she really tried to make an emotional apeal to chance and it’s not gonna work”, “No reaction from Chance. He’s Dominic’s father on paper and that’s it.”, “He’s really not the most important person in doms life because he isn’t IN doms life at all he’s been gone lol” and “Terrible parents. Enjoy the couple, but… please give that baby to Devon and Mariah.”
While people were excited to have Chance back, a lot of it was lost when we found out that Chance didn’t want to leave. While it’s almost certain he will be coming back based on a spoiler Amelia Heinle (Victoria Newman) accidentally posted on Instagram and immediately deleted, it still doesn’t seem like he wants to be part of the family anymore.
Unfortunately, it’s not a simple answer for Chance, and when he gets home he’ll have to deal with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes).
