Devoted fans of this enduring soap opera know that Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) was the man Cricket, as he calls her, was her first love. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) destroyed that relationship when targeting Danny in the ’90s. She still uses a derisive nickname for Christine, calling her The Bug.

Everyone can see that Phyllis is beginning to think she might have another chance with Danny. She was in the early stages of playing up to him and took everything he said as a sign.
However, Danny was never in love with Phyllis. She manipulated him into thinking he was the father of her first child, named after Damian’s character. But Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) was not Danny’s child. Phyllis used that ruse to break his marriage to Christine and marry Damian’s character twice, which topped his one union with his soul mate.
Many familiar faces were rehired during Y&R’s fiftieth anniversary season. Some were for short stints. But others, like Damian, returned for extended stays and a storyline. Like Bell, the daughter of the show’s co-founders, he deserves that respect.

Christine is grieving the end of her marriage to Paul. Their second nuptial began in 2013.
Like other icons on this show, Davidson deserved to be part of this half-century milestone year. But he wasn’t. There needs to be fully confirmed information about whether one side or the other was not agreeable to a comeback.
The bottom line is that Paul was written out of the show, and his marriage to Christine collapsed off-screen. But at least the fans are being given a feel-good reunion with Christine and Danny’s reunion momentum.
‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers – Danny Romalotti Determined To Get It Right
Danny is a good guy because he forgave Phyllis and has chosen to see the best in her. That is maturity that some people could never achieve.
Still rocking decades into his singing career, Danny is also unafraid of putting himself out there. He is openly pursuing Christine, and she is receptive.
This storyline is enjoyable for all the right reasons. Christine’s divorce was not rushed, and Danny’s return to Genoa City, Wisconsin, was plausible. Plus, the Phyllis angle is being addressed in a way that even gives her a way out and up on Y&R.
