‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers show that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is still struggling to suppress his feelings for Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).
While he has stated that he understands that the pregnancy doesn’t change their relationship, it is obvious that he still has feelings for her.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Friendly Advice
Adam asked Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) to attend the Genoa City Gala with him as friends. During the event, Adam suggests that Sharon should pursue something with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd).
He thinks that she deserves to be happy and thinks that she needs to be in a relationship to be happy. Sharon disagrees. She is happy being by herself and has a full but quiet life. Sharon gives Adam some good advice.
She said that the key to happiness is being thankful for the things we have and not to focus on what we don’t have. She encourages him to embrace gratitude as a stance for being content.
This is great advice, but it may not be the easiest for Adam to accept. It would be much easier for Adam to identify what he doesn’t have rather than his blessings.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Remembering Sally
After Sharon gives Adam this advice, he sees Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sally together. They are touching and Nick is rubbing Sally’s stomach. Adam is the father of Sally’s baby, and this sight obviously makes him uncomfortable.
He begins to think back about their friendship and how they really had a great relationship. As he watches Sally and his brother, he thinks back to his time with Sally with fondness. He obviously finds it difficult to let her go completely.
During the gala others have been watching Sally and Nick together too. Nikki Newman (Melody Scott Thomas) and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) both believe that Sally and Nick shouldn’t be together.
Summer thinks that Sally belongs with Adam, the father of her unborn baby. Will these two encourage Adam to pursue Sally again?
