‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers show that for once in a long time, the storylines on the show DO NOT center around Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).
Sure, they are around, but we’re actually getting to dive into a story with Eric Forrester (John McCook), which is amazing. Unfortunately, it might be the last storyline of Eric we get.
Rumors are circulating that John McCook is getting ready to retire, and this storyline is his last big hoo-rah before he leaves.
This leaves a sad feeling in our hearts, but we’re so happy to finally get to see a big storyline revolve around one of the main stars we have watched and loved for decades and taking on a serious tone rather than another annoying love triangle with the same three people over and over.

‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers: Fans Are REJOICING As A Storyline Revolves Around Eric Forrester (John McCook), Unfortunately It Might Be His Last
Fans reacted to a clip on ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Instagram page of Eric’s struggles saying, “Finally a storyline that doesn’t focus on Hope, Liam or bloody Steffy.”, “I do not have the strength for this. Eric is this show to me.”, “R.j tell your dad what’s going your granddad health. He deserves to know what’s going with him!!”, and “No please tell me Eric isn’t dying? Or wait are they writing a storyline of Eric having Parkinson’s? I’m just guessing but wow what is gonna happen?”
While we don’t think that McCook will be retiring, it is always a possibility when these actors and actresses start getting up there in age.
We hope that McCook will choose to stay around for a while longer, but this storyline looks to be one that will be having fans shed tears for a while to come! We hope that Eric is alright and look forward to seeing how this storyline ends up!
