The Duke left a wreath and a message that said, “To all of those who have served, and are serving. Thank you.” And while the gesture was considered very noble, a lot of people say that the entire ordeal looked very embarrassing.
Of course, many of Meghan and Harry’s critics and detractors certainly had a lot of things to say about the matter. Some comments on social media have included, “This is an object lesson in turning an act of remembrance for the fallen into a cheap PR stunt. No respect at all. It’s disgusting, he has no shame,” along with, “A photoshoot opportunity in a cemetery? This really leaves an unpleasant taste. Their PR team have finally plunged them to the bottom.”
This move has prompted a lot of people to wonder what exactly is going on behind closed doors for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and if they are reassessing their PR strategy, as it is clearly not working out for them right now.
While the Duke and Duchess of Sussex often appear in multiple Zoom calls with numerous charities in both the U.S. and the U.K. throughout the week, things have been relatively quiet for them lately. Could this possibly mean that Harry and Meghan are embarrassed over their latest gaffe?
