NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers indicate that Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) is finally close to getting what he wants in his life: and that’s Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) as his forever partner with little Mackenzie in their family. However, he just has to make sure that Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) and basically everyone else in Salem doesn’t figure out that he swapped Sarah’s real baby with Kristen Dimera’s (Stacy Haiduk). Until then, he will need to be on his toes. Here’s what you need to know.
Speaking to the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, ‘Days of Our Lives’ executive producer and head writer Ron Carlivati puts it this way, “Xander is finally so close to getting what he wants. Sarah’s agreed to marry him, but he’s keeping this terrible secret from her, which is that her child is not hers. He’s really scrambling to try to contain it and he thinks he can be one step ahead of Nicole.”

With that said, it looks like Xander will have to work some overtime hours in making sure that his secret never sees the light of day. And while Nicole managed to put some of the pieces together, he’s letting out a huge sigh of relief right now that she thinks she might be wrong. Little does Nicole know that she was very close to figuring out the truth.
Carlivati adds, “Now that Nicole seemingly accepts that she was wrong about Mackenzie, he’s starting to get his confidence back and he is going to live happily ever after with Sarah. It’s all kind of back on one track while Nicole is still digging on the other side.”
