    NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers for July 4th reveal no one in Salem will be in a celebratory mood. Instead, they’ll be preparing for Abigail Deveraux’s (Marci Miller) funeral. Plus, we’ll see another return and some family drama. Here’s what you need to know.

    NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers For July 4: Support system

    First, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) and Will Horton (Chandler Massey) offer Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) much needed comfort. We feel it’s only fair. After all, they helped make things complicated in Abigail’s final days with that plan to expose Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart).

    After being so unfair to pressure Chad they way they did, they need to do something to make that up to him. Especially Sonny, because he was the most crazed about exposing Leo. And we believe that Leo’s wanting revenge will complicate the progress in finding Abigail’s true murderer. But that’s a topic for the weekly spoilers.

    Elsewhere, Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) and Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) are back in Salem under sad circumstances. They’ll obviously return home for Abigail’s funeral, something no one wants to cut a trip short for. We’re expecting a lot of DiMera bonding to happen with this return.

    In other ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers, losses like this are stressful situations. Sometimes, they bring out resentments and disagreements, and it looks like Abigail’s demise will be no exception. Teasers say JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) and Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) disagree over Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien). Since JJ’s been out of the picture for a while, we’re sure the only things he really knows of Gwen are what Abigail has told him.

    And she likely couldn’t wait to spread the story of what Gwen did to Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) to her brother. So, it’s no wonder JJ will be likely feeling less than charitable about his half-sister. And Jack, as usual, will be trying to do right by his daughter by believing she’s trying to own up to her mistakes.

    Finally, there’s Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans). She’s going to  have a serious case of writer’s block as she struggles to find the right words for Abigail’s eulogy. Whatever she ultimately comes up with, we’re already anticipating a need for tissues. And we’re pretty sure Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) might just offer an ear to help her through it.
