NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers indicate Kate Mansi (Abigail DiMera) has been a busy woman, on screen and behind the scenes. There’s been plenty for her to do in post Time Jump Salem, as well as her Days App projects. But, with things slowed down because of the current situation, she’s been keeping fans entertained and updated on Instagram. Most recently, she shared a surprising first gig. Here’s what you need to know.

They say everyone has to start somewhere, right? Well, Mansi is definitely proof that sometimes the smallest gig can be the beginning of something much bigger. In the post, she shared a couple pictures, one featuring a photo surrounded by what looks like a couple of storyboards.
She captioned the post, “Here’s a fun #flashbackfriday… My 1st job was as an ass model for @panasonic. Yup. True story. #howdyougetyoursagcard”
As you can tell by the tag, this simple job led to her getting that all-important card that allows her to be part of the ‘Days of Our Lives’ cast. The other photo looked like a behind the scenes shot of her. We guess someone’s taking the time to look back and do some closet cleaning in her downtime. But she’s also trying to help others.

The actress has been sharing posts promoting small businesses who’s products she loves in hopes of keeping their sales going as a lot of places are having to adapt their businesses.

Mansi’s been keeping busy. Despite a break from Days, she and Billy Flynn (Chad DiMera) took the time to star in the Days app series, Chad and Abbi in Paris. There are two seasons currently available, and she’s also got another show on the app. It’s all about her journey toward being a director. That’s currently available as well, and we’re looking forward to seeing how this latest adventure turns out. Other Daytime stars, including Finola Hughes (Anna Devane) and Kimberly McCullough (Robin Scorpio-Drake) have also gotten into the field, with McCullough eventually making that her new career. Will Mansi make a name in the field as well? Stay tuned. As for Abigail, considering the DiMera drama going on, she’s going to be front and center for a bit.
