NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers tease there might be a possibility that we could be seeing Stefan DiMera and Jake Lambert on the canvas at the same time. And no, we are not talking about a split-screen situation here. Now that actor Brandon Barash is playing new character but also lookalike Jake Lambert, another actor could come back to play the first Stefan DiMera before the face off. Of course, we are talking about Tyler Christopher, who played Stefan on the hit NBC soap before Brandon took over. Here’s what you need to know.
After taking a short hiatus, Brandon Barash is back on the canvas, but this time around he’s playing Jake, a mechanic and motorcycle enthusiast who is apparently running away from some very sketchy people. However, he’s also managed to flip everyone’s lives upside down in Salem, and in particular for Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus), simply because he looks so much like Stefan. If you didn’t know any better, you would think that this ‘Jake’ is ‘Stefan,’ but with more of a Midwestern accent.

With that said, there’s some fan speculation that Tyler Christopher could perhaps come back and play the original Stefan DiMera on Days of Our Lives. The actor himself has recently hinted that he’s focusing on his health and is working on self-improvement every day. While he has not made any comments about his future in daytime television, it’s without a doubt that his loyal fans would support him each step of the way. Plus, it would be exciting to watch Gabi DiMera react to seeing both Stefan and Jake in the same room, right? Fingers crossed!
