The last season of Love Is Blind was very tense for the contestants who were featured. Johnie Maraist was just one of the single women who thought she had found Mr. Right, but it turned out that he was not the one for her at all. Johnie fell hard and fast for Izzy Zapata, but he fell in love with Stacy Snyder.
As much as it hurt Izzy to tell Johnie that she wasn’t the one, Johnie has gotten a bad rap from the other contestants on the show.

During the reunion barbeque episode, fans watched on as Stacy and Izzy were anything but kind to Johnie. She was practically bullied by Stacy and Izzy.
She held her own, but she was still left with tears in her eyes for most of the epsiode. Johnie wanted to share her side of the story with her fans, so she appeared on the podcast, Out of the Pods with Natalie Lee and Deepti Vempati.
Love Is Blind: Johnie Spill All the Love Is Blind Tea
Being on a reality dating show is not exactly the easiest thing for anyone to do. Johnie wanted to share her experience on Love Is Blind with fans.
She told the podcast hosts, “My whole mentality was, I don’t know if I trust you or not. I don’t feel great about that barbeque. There’s a lot of people telling me… alright of y’all want to get into the real tea. Milton told me that Izzy had another girl at the bachelorette party.” These parties did not air on the show, unfortuantely.
Johnie went on to say, “So Milton told me, ‘Don’t go for Izzy. He’s not trustworthy. I don’t trust him.’ And me being dumb… I told Izzy about my conversation with Milton and that’s where s**t went awry.” Of course, Milton was very upset about Johnie telling Izzy that she knew about this moment and it caused some turmoil between the two men.
Love Is Blind: The Text Messages
Johnie went on to date another man from Love Is Blind, Chris, but she found out that while she thought they were exclusive, he was actually dating someone else. The last time she heard from him was before the reunion in a text message.
He wrote, “I’m sorry. I really am. Everything I told you was the truth. I wanted to be with you. I see my life wth you in the future and know it would be perfect. You’re amazing. I don’t what it is and I tried to work through it, but I have this anxiety with you and with the show. I just fell back to what I know and I apologize.”
Johnie has actually moved on and has been dating a man named Alex Yovanovic for over a year now. She seems incredibly happy these days and we hope that this love will last.
