Kylie Jenner is making it pretty clear that 2021 was not the best year on record for her. The reality television star reflected on both the “blessings” and the “heartaches” that she experienced these last twelve months.
While Kylie is expecting another child with her partner Travis Scott, they are also dealing with the aftermath of the Astroworld concert tragedy that killed 10 people back in November. Here’s what you need to know.
Kylie Jenner Reflects On A Tough Year For 2021
Sharing a black-and-white maternity photo, Kylie started off her post by writing, “As 2022 is approaching i’ve been reflecting on this last year and the blessings that it brought but also the many heartaches it held. i will never forget this year and all the significant changes it made to my life,” she continued. “I pray this new year is filled with a lot of love for all of you and i hope everyone stays safe and healthy during this time.”
Back in November, Kylie took to her Instagram account to clear up a few rumors. The celebrity mother, who attended the concert with the couple’s 3-year-old daughter Stormi, says that Travis wasn’t aware of any of the fatalities that occured until after the show.
She said, “I want to make it clear that we weren’t aware of the fatalities until the news came out after the show and in no world would have continued filming or performing. I am sending my deepest condolences to the families during this difficult time and will be praying for the healing of everyone who has been impacted.”
Kylie, who is pregnant with the couple’s second child, added that she and Travis were both “broken and devastated” by the events.
“My thoughts and prayers are with all who lost their lives, were injured or affected in anyway [sic] by yesterday’s events. And also for Travis who I know cares deeply for his fans and the Houston community,” she wrote.
