John Oliver, a British comedian, suggested that Meghan Markle had been cautioned that joining the Royal Family could bring about some emotional difficulties.

Meghan Markle Was Told Not To Marry Into The Royal Family

Meghan stopped carrying out her royal responsibilities within two years of marrying Prince Harry, as they left the firm in 2020. After the release of Prince Harry’s autobiography, Spare, a video segment of Oliver on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert from February 2018 has been brought to the attention of the public again.

In his comments at the time, John remarked: “I mean, they’re an emotionally stunted group of fundamentally flawed people doing a very silly pseudo job. That’s what she’s marrying into. So, I hope she likes it, it’s going to be weird for her. I would not marry into the royal family.”

This comes in the background of the release of Harry’s memoir, Spare, which has become the fastest-selling non-fiction book ever. And as part of that process, the Duke of Sussex made a number of damning revelations against his family.

He accused his brother, Prince William, of assaulting him. In addition, he went on to refer to his father, King Charles III’s wife Queen Consort Camilla as a ‘villain.’

But given that Harry had allegedly withdrawn 800 pages from the book, this would suggest that the Duke of Sussex has enough material should he decide to make further attacks later down the line.

When justifying that decision, this is what Harry had to say: “But there are some things that have happened, especially between me and my brother, and to some extent between me and my father, that I just don’t want the world to know. Because I don’t think they would ever forgive me.”

Unfortunately, by marrying into the firm, Meghan has involved herself in this crossfire. And there is no getting away from that. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
