Joe Rogan spoke about Elon Musk purchasing Twitter and is completely on board. Hilariously, in the beginning of the clip, Rogan basically compares Elon to Iron Man without even realizing it. He says that Elon is like a movie character, with all these resources that does wild s–t and builds rockets… That’s Tony Stark. Funny enough, Elon appeared in ‘Iron Man 2’ in 2010.
Elon is about free speech though, and he’s buying Twitter to make a point of it. Twitter has been synonymous with shadow banning people and booting them off the platform for simply having a different opinion. Let’s make no bones about this… It happens. Elon hopes that his biggest critics will remain on the platform because he feels that’s free speech.
Joe Rogan Reacts To Elon Musk Purchasing Twitter – Tells Donald Trump To Reconsider Rejoining
It didn’t take long before Donald Trump was brought up, who was banned from Twitter after the January 6th Capitol Hill protest. Donald has made his claim that he will not be rejoining Twitter even if Elon Musk buys it as he is busy with his new ‘TRUTH’ social media platform.
At the end of the clip, Joe asks him to reconsider. While it came off as a joke, I think he’s being serious and if you’ve listened to Joe over the last four years he thinks that Trump is a comedian, and a good one. He knows how to piss people off and says wild s–t that is hilarious. That’s why Joe wants him on there, simply for the fun of it.
Elon purchasing Twitter has been huge news and will continue to be for a while. It will be interesting to see if he unbans everyone or will go through on a case by case basis. We’ll have to wait and see.
