‘General Hospital (GH)’ spoilers show that Cameron Mathison of ‘Home & Family’ is set to join the cast! So far, there have been no details on his role, but it will mark his return to daytime television since it’s been said that ‘Home and Family’ will end in August after its ninth season!
Mathison is known for his roles as Ryan Lavery in the series ‘All My Children’, where he earned Daytime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actor in 2002 and 2004. He was named co-host of Hallmark Channel’s ‘Home and Family’ with Debbi Matenopoulos in 2018 and has been there since. He also co-hosted the 35th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards!

He’s also starred in Hallmark Channel originals like ‘Home in Mitford’, ‘A Summer to Remember’, ‘Very, Very Valentine’ and ‘Love, Of Course’. Mathison has also guest-starred in a slew of television series, including ‘The Drew Carey Show’, ‘CSI’, ‘JAG’, ‘Castle’ and ‘What I Like About You’ among others.
We look forward to seeing what he brings when he returns to Daytime television and can’t wait to see what he brings to ‘General Hospital’! Perhaps he will help bring the show another Emmy for Outstanding Daytime Drama for a 14th time!
