If he truly cares about Ava Jerome (Maura West) and the possibility of having a relationship with her, he should tell the truth. Lying is only going to get him busted. ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Blackmail Hell
For a long time, Ava Jerome has been living under the impression that she killed Nicholas Cassadine (Adam Huss). When he threatened her daughter, she hit him the head with a statue.
He fell to the ground, and she thought she had killed him. That evening, Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) and Dr. Austin Gatlin-Holt found out about what happened and used it to their advantage.
They hid Nicholas and Austin treated his injuries. While Nicholas recovered and then disappeared from Port Charles, Mason used the situation to blackmail Ava.
He told her that she had to help him to dig up dirt on Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) or he would leak what Ava did.
She agreed to do what Mason asked because she was so ashamed of having killed Nicholas. She wanted to keep that under wraps. When Mason went too far and threatened her daughter, Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola), Ava broke down and admitted everything to Sonny.
He promised to help her. Sonny planted some fake evidence for Mason to get his hands on about Sonny’s relationship with Pikeman. He also helped to watch out for Avery.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Bombshell Revelation
Laura Spencer (Genesis Francis) just returned from Europe. She was trying to track down Nicholas. She was worried he was imprisoned somewhere and wanted to make sure he was okay.
While she never saw him, she did get a credible report from his banker in Geneva, Switzerland. Nicholas is alive. He has come personally into the bank several times to make withdrawals.
Ava is stunned to hear this news from Laura. She has been put through hell the last few months and now she is totally free. No one has anything to hold over her anymore.
She calls Austin over to the gallery and she tell him that Nicholas is alive. Then she asks him if he knew that Nicholas was alive, and she had nothing to fear.
Austin Gatlin-Holt lies to her. The question is, why? It will be easy for Ava to hear about Austin’s complicity in the events from his cousin, Mason Gatlin-Holt.
Lying to Ava seems unwise, particularly if he is hoping to have a future with her. It would be better to admit he knew. Do you think he made a foolish move?
