‘General Hospital’ Spoilers reveal that Lorenzo Alcazar (Ted King) may return to Port Charles, wooing Ava Jerome (Maura West). Remember Michael’s mystery “connection” that led him to the knowledge that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) was the one who turned Drew and Carly into the SEC?
GH made it a point to show the back of him but not his face. They would only do that if they wanted us to wonder who it was. Rumor has it that Ted King is meeting with GH executive producer Frank Valentini very soon.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Alcazar Should Make a Comeback
This means that he is in talks with the show. It may be to reprise his role as Alcazar. Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) was the one who killed him to avenge her sister Kristina Cassadine’s (Jaimie Ray Newman) death, but maybe he faked his death. It is a soap, after all!
During Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Nina’s wedding, Michael receives this call and decides to keep mum and blackmail her instead of telling his father the truth.
Lorenzo could be instrumental in this situation because of his adversary relationship with Sonny. He hated Sonny for so many reasons.
One of them is that they shared many of the same women. Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil) were the two women these mobster men fought over the most.
Lorenzo could have known that outing Nina as the whistle-blower would ruin his marriage to his new bride. He may have had the ulterior motive of breaking up Sonny’s relationship with Nina so that he would be vulnerable and make a mistake in his business.
That would give Lorenzo an in to swoop in and steal Sonny’s territory. There are endless storyline possibilities. He could even work with Selina Wu (Lydia Look) or Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) to try to bring Sonny down.
General Hospital Spoilers: Ava and Alcazar Would Steam Up the Screen
This return could create a mob war between the two sides. As far as enemies go, Cyrus just doesn’t cut it. He has tried to defeat Sonny at every turn, only to come out of it looking like a fool.
And if memory serves, Lorenzo is a formidable enemy for Sonny. Things would definitely get interesting in Port Charles.
Then there’s Ava Jerome. Ava needs a love interest that is the same caliber as her. Austin isn’t her type, and Nikolas does not hold a candle to Lorenzo.
Lorenzo is a mafia boss. He’s the real deal. Ava and Alcazar would steam up the screen together. The two of them would be perfectly matched.
Plus, there would be added drama because Sonny and Ava share a child, Avery Jerome Corinthos (Ava Scarola). Alcazar could become close to Ava and Avery, driving Sonny mad. We all know he doesn’t like to share women with his enemies!
Ted King played the fascinating character Lorenzo Alcazar from 2003 to 2007. There was some speculation in 2012 when Carly and Skye Quartermaine (Robin Christopher) saw a photo of Blair Cramer (Kassie DePavia) and her fiance, Tomas Delgado (Ted King), who looked like Alcazar.
However, the storyline was never resolved. It’s time for Lorenzo to come back and start trouble again!
