‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers indicates that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) understands the necessity of keeping his enemies close to him.
While he may be angry at Selina Wu (Lydia Look) and has the right to punish her or break off his relationship with her, he decides that he needs to keep her in his corner. She may be dangerous, but she will always put her business interests first. He can use that to his advantage.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Bone to Pick
Sonny calls Selina into his office because he isn’t happy with her. She allowed his cousin, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Borroughs) to play poker at her private tables. Gladys lost big but Selina did not share that news with Sonny.
According to Selina, Gladys did wrack up a lot of debt, but she was making her payments. She was often late, but she said she had the money. Because of that, Selina didn’t feel that she should “bother” Sonny with this information.
But Selina can tell that Sonny is not pleased with her and she apologizes. She says that out of respect for their relationship, she should have told Sonny what was going on. Selina doesn’t know it, but Gladys was only able to make her payments because she was stealing from Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) and was also drugging her.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Making Amends
Selia apologizes and wants to know how she can make amends. He is ready for her offer. He needs her help. Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) has been released from prison and Sonny knows that he is gunning for Sonny.
Sonny is sure that Cyrus was the one who collected the planted Pikeman intel and tried to get the Feds to investigate Sonny.
Sonny also believes that Renault is behind the recent kidnapping of Ava Jerome (Maura West). Renault is jealous of Sonny and wants to act against him. Even though Cyrus has said he has “changed” and has “found religion” it isn’t convincing to Sonny.
Sonny is concerned and needs to keep eyes on Renault. He can do that that to a certain extent with his own people, but to not miss anything, he needs help. He tells Selina that he needs her help to keep tabs on Cyrus.
She needs to tell him what Renault is up to and she definitely needs to let Sonny know if Cyrus contacts her.
Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) wonders if Selina is trustworthy as a source of information. Sonny knows that she values her business most of all, and so he knows how to manipulate her.
