Joshua Swickard hails from Quincy, Illinois. He is one of four children and has three sisters. Swickard started modeling in Chicago in 2010. He modeled for magazines. In 2015 he made his screen debut in a television show.
He landed the role of Harrison Chase for GH in 2018. In 2019, Swickard married Lorynn York, an actress, writer and producer. Their daughter was born in 2021 and they welcomed a son in 2023.

Joshua Swickard debuted as Harrison Chase on February 21, 2018. PCPD’s Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) hired Chase to replace Detective Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) after he was shot and killed by Cesar Faison (Anders Hove). When Chase joined the PCPD, he became Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) partner.
When Chase first arrives in Port Charles, there are some questions about his paternity. His mother is Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) and his father is Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison).
It was discovered that Jackie slept with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) around the time Chase was conceived. However, after additional testing and investigation, it is proven that Gregory is his father. Finn is his half-brother.

In the end of 2018, Chase began a relationship with Willow Tait (Kaitlyn MacMullen). Chase and Willow got married in June 2021. They ended up getting an annulment in August because Williow ends up with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).
Currently, Chase is in a dating relationship with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton). At the moment, things seem to be going fairly well for the couple except that Tracey Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) is difficult to handle. She interferes with both of them, which tends to be frustrating.
