‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For Friday, August 16: Meet up
First, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers indicate Laura gets a distressing call. Does this have something to do with the new office of the WSB in town? It looks like it. In the promo, Laura is speaking to Brennan. She tells him they have a unique opportunity here.
Given how Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) reacted to his new position, we can just imagine all the stories she’s already told Laura. This clip gives us the feeling Laura is trying to get friendly with him to see what his true intentions are. Maybe try to set some boundaries for “her” town as, again, Anna probably has her thinking the worst.
Not that we really blame Anna, in a way. He was heading Pikeman and he’s definitely done bad things. Still, he’s growing on us and we do believe he’s got a good side to him.

Elsewhere, Mac admits he was wrong. This comes on the heels on Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) saving James West (Gary James Fuller) from potential disaster at the Quartermaine estate.
We believe the lectures from Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) and the rescue will all be behind this. It could also be the first step to him accepting Cody as a son. But, either way, if he’s smart, he’ll watch his step around the women in his life! They weren’t playing about his overstepping with James!

Finally, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) makes a promise to Kristina. Obviously, this is going to be about Ava Jerome (Maura West). Again. However, we have a feeling the stakes might have been raised.
The promo features Kristina getting the results of her discharge exam. There’s a very real possibility Kristina won’t be able to carry a child again after that accident. The procedure they did before was to try and avoid a Hysterectomy, and we think the attempt failed.
Kristina is already devastated to lose that child. Knowing she can’t ever have one, hers or her sister’s, would be another harsh blow on top of it. Which should make her want Ava’s blood even more.
We’ll be curious to see how Kristina will handle the idea that this needs to wait, though. Sonny’s visit from Anna won’t allow him to make any moves right now.
