General Hospital recap for Friday, May 10 shows that Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) is tougher than she seemed and find Ava Jerome (Maura West) getting to involved in her act. There was also bad news for Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry). If you missed all the action, catch up with the highlights in today’s General Hospital recap.
General Hospital Recap Friday, May 10: Ava’s Obsessive Side Shines Through, Gets Infatuated With Kevin – Remnants Of Passionate Past Love Resurface
General Hospital spoilers: Facing the music
While Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) worry about where Kristina’s been, Kristina was trying to make up for a mistake. She drops by the Dawn of Day house to ask Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) for her pledge back, as she is no longer a member of DoD. He says it doesn’t work that way, as the pledge is a gift to him and refuses to give it back. Before that, he does his typical Shiloh thing to try to get Kristina back in the fold. She tells him that she did a lot of thinking and doesn’t want to be a part of DoD anymore. She accuses him of planning to rape her at her initiation and drugging her. Shiloh obviously denies all and says she has really slipped in her progress since she’s been gone. Kristina holds her ground, though, and refuses to fall back into his trap.
Later, she informs her parents of where she’d been, but neglects to mention trying to get her pledge back. Neil Byrne (Joe Flanigan) tells Sonny and Alexis that something great happened today that is a good sign for her future. She confronted him and held strong.
Back at the DoD house, Shiloh speaks with who we assume Harmony (Inga Cadranel) on the phone. He says he the fake pledges were stolen and the real ones are in a safe place. He thinks they might be needing Kristina’s at some point.
GH spoilers: Method acting?
Ava and Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) continue their ruse, having a lunch together at Julian Jerome’s (William deVry) place. They’re setting the stage for a public romance with a selfie that’s getting shared by them on social media (at least, that’s how Kevin believes people handle these things online. Ha!). What they actual do for us viewers is look like an old married couple that’s sick of each other’s crap. It’s entertaining, yet not very conducive to their plan, as they come to agree on.
Ava, playing her role, then accompanies Kevin to an appointment to see whether or not he can donate a kidney to Jordan. While there, Ava sees a side of Kevin that she thought existed in his evil half and gets caught up in the moment. She attempts a very private kiss, that Kevin puts the breaks on. She apologizes and explains how she ended up confusing things a moment. Kevin accepts, but warns her that if such confusion happens again the plan is done. He loves Laura.
General Hospital spoilers: Bad news
Jordan and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) are anxiously awaiting the results of testing on Kevin. Even if the potential donor is a match, a lot of other factors have to be checked before a transplant be approved. Unfortunately for Jordan, Kevin is pre-diabetic, likely due to the malnutrition he suffered while being Ryan Chamberlain’s prisoner. Jordan, TJ, and Kevin are all disappointed in the result. Kevin was hoping that he could help save a life after causing so much pain.

Moving ahead with other options, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) asks if there’s any other family that can be considered for donation. Jordan explains that her family is scattered, and not in touch. Finn suggests using a DNA service to possibly find relatives, and Jordan says she’ll consider it.
General Hospital spoilers: Mission accomplished?
Laura Webber (Genie Francis) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) are in Canada posing as Canadian officials to speak with the 23 women they’d narrowed their search down to. After nearly getting some major trouble at one house (luckily, Laura had some fake ID), they finally head to a place that Laura believes to be a very probable candidate for Ryan’s mystery helper.
When they get to the house, there’s no answer and a ton of mail overflowing from the mailbox. Laura goes through some of the envelopes and thinks the occupant can’t be Ryan’s helper, as he was still in Port Charles when some of it came. As they head to the next candidate, we see a POV from inside the house watching them leave.
