TMZ has reported that the TV show offers are rolling in for Duane Chapman, a.k.a. Dog the Bounty Hunter now that he as famously joined the manhunt for Gabby Petito’s suspected killer, Brian Laundrie.
While Dog made it clear to TMZ that he did not join the Laundrie hunt for the fame but because he has a very particular set of skills, skills he has acquired over a very long career, –and that he was only an hour away from the Laundrie family home while mid honeymoon with new wife, Francie–it seems he is not unhappy about the attention he is receiving.
Television Offers Rolling in for Dog the Bounty Hunter, on the Brian Laundrie Trail.
Cameras have not been rolling throughout Dog’s investigations, except for the snippets Francie has been capturing on her cell phone. That being said, Dog admits he isn’t s opposed to heading back to television and is reportedly entertaining more than one of the opportunities being sent his way. In fact, it is being rumored that some of Francie’s cell phone footage is already being primed to use for a new “Dog hunts Laundrie” show, and that Francie will also be involved in its production.
Way to make the public forget about the racism claims your daughter alleged about you, Dog!
Though this could be the resurrection Dog’s television career needed, he still pledges that he is out to help the Petito family find closure and that is all…but the TV paycheque wouldn’t go unappreciated.
So far Laundrie has managed to evade everyone who is hunting him down, from law-enforcement, to the interested public to celebrity bounty hunters like Dog. However, Dog believes Brian is still alive and was last seen wading through Floridian swamps, searching for clues, even though social media users are adamant they recently saw Laundrie on the Appalachian Trail…then again, he was also “spotted” on a Florida deer cam and in Canada at a hotel.
The manhunt stretches on…
