There’s a new report that says the reality television star is thankful that “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” reunion is behind her, especially after she was poked and prodded so much by her castmates over lawsuit and legal troubles with her estranged husband, Tom Girardi. And now a source says that Erika simply wants to move forward in her life. Here’s what you need to know.
Erika Jayne tried to defend herself during the most recent “RHOBH” reunion after it was revealed that she has a $14 million dollar American Express bill attached to her name.
RHOBH: What’s Next For Erika Jayne?
The reality television star and singer said that the bill, which was made public amid her legal and financial woes with her e-husband Tom Girardi, is the result of her spending from the past 12 years. According to Erika, the $14 million that she owes American Express really isn’t that much.
“So, if you knock that down to $2 million per year, that’s all pretty much what we’re doing this year,” she said, gesturing to her co-stars. “I mean, doing in this lifestyle.”
One source close to the situation now says she’s thankful the reunion special is all in the past. “It was hard to live, it was hard to talk about and it was hard to relive. She’s ready for a break from the viewers being so on top of her every week, but she will be sharing more in season 12,” the source shared, per ET Online.
In addition, the tipster says that Erika is focused on working with the court and finding out what really happened with Tom Girardi’s law firm.
“Like she said at the taping, the best thing she can do is cooperate in the courts,” the source added. “Even if she has the money, she can’t just start handing it out to these alleged victims until it’s ruled in a court of law that she’s responsible for the debts.”
