You may think that you have lost your mind when you notice Marlena acting strange. Well, it is not you! Marlena is acting out of character because it is really Hattie Adams. Yes, there are look-a-likes on ‘Days’. Deidre Hall, who is Marlena Evans, has an identical twin sister, named Andrea Hall, who plays Hattie Adams.
In 2004, this character was introduced and was played by Deidre Hall actually. So, who is Hattie Adams? Hattie Adams was a waitress and she found out that her psychiatrist, Marlena Evans, looked just like her. Soon, Stefano DiMera noticed this resemblance and Hattie was approached and asked if she would get plastic surgery to look more like Marlena. Hattie was fired from her waitressing job and she tried to kill herself. Roman Brady ended up rescuing her.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Who Is Hattie?
As days went by, Hattie grew jealous of Marlena Evans and she finally decided to get the plastic surgery in order to look just like Marlena. Dr. Rolf even went as far as teaching Hattie how to be a proper lady in hopes that she could fool Roman into thinking she was Marlena. This plan never was placed into action. Stefano told Dr. Rolf not to hurt Hattie when he wanted her to be quiet and not blow his cover. In 2016, when Hope Brady was in prison, Hattie actually saved her from being beaten up by fellow inmates. Hattie found out that Hope killed Stefano and she was happy about that. Stefano was supposed to send Hattie money in order to fix her face but never did. Hattie fell in love with a man who embezzled money. Hattie helped Hope escape from prison and Hope found evidence to clear Hattie’s name.

Hattie came back to Salem while Marlena was locked up in a mental institution. When she was in Salem, she tried to ruin Marlena’s life. She followed John Black to the mental hospital where Marlena was, had John locked up there too. Hattie tried to seduce Roman as well. In 2018, Hattie was back and was one suspect when Andre DiMera was found dead. She was innocent, then left Salem until 2019. Hattie came back to play Marlena yet again. John and Kayla used her to impersonate Dr. Evans while they waited for Marlena to come out of the coma she was in. This ended up going wrong when Hattie blackmailed John into marrying her. They were married, but Hattie felt bad and agreed to divorce John. When the time jump occurred on ‘Days’, Hattie is shown in prison still and with Eve Donovan beside her.
Hattie gets Marlena to keep her up since she saved her life. Hattie then convinces Roman to give her a job as a waitress at Brady Pub. This was a great way for Hattie to have herself right in the middle of Marlena and Stefano.
