‘Days Of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers ask us if we remember how a few months ago Vivian Alamain (then played by Robin Strasser) returned and just for a hot minute Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) got to have a sweet reunion with his Mom, but it wouldn’t last because he got shot in the throat trying to protect his Mom from an incoming bullet fired by none other than Lani Price (Sal Stowers) and that caused a whole load of problems that are being felt right now all over Salem. Well, it looks like VIvian Alamain is still alive and kicking (one would hope so, considering her son practically gave his life to keep her alive!) and she will be returning soon. This time she will be portrayed by her original actress, Louise Sorel!
Looks like we should expect Vivian to return sometime in the summer of 2020 shortly after the return of Brandon Barash himself, who, will hopefully be in the form of Stefan DiMera because with Lani back in the picture we all know the whole Gabi/Eli thing is not going to last. Not that it ever really would because let’s face it, Eli is ultimately in love with Lani. Sure, Gabi is a fun distraction and may even be a formidable rival when it comes to Eli’s affections, but we have to remember that Eli and Lani came very close to being married at one point and the only reason Gabi even stood in their way was because she thought she could never find happiness with her dead true love, Stefan.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Is it Vivian Alamain returning?
If Stefan does indeed return and he’s alive and kicking, then this can only mean one thing, Gabi’s going to drop Eli like a hot potato and run back to Stefan. No, it won’t be fair to Eli, but Lani’ll be there to pick up the pieces and get to a point where they can pick up where they left off. It looks like where they stand now though, Eli is going to try and resist his pull back to Lani Price as much as possible because he’s with Gabi right now. However, I have a feeling that won’t be the case for very long because Eli is an upstanding guy and Gabi is a schemer. Sooner or later, he’s not going to like that side of her and she is going to let her true colors show and that’s when they will end.

Stefan may or may not remember just who he is at first, I’m calling it now. There is a chance that he will return with Vivian. Maybe she somehow got to him and had him revived although how on earth she could do that without a heart in his body is beyond me but hey I’m not in charge of the logic in Salem. Or maybe he’ll be discovered in some deep, dark part of Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (William Utay) lab on a mechanical heart beng kept alive as some weird, wacky “Stefano’s Wish” scenario.
But there is a chance that Barash could be portraying an entirely different character. One that just strikingly resembles Stefan, one that isn’t VIvian’s actual son at all but will give her and subsequently Gabi quite a fright when he shows up and enters Salem for the first time. What I want to know is who’s going to faint dead away first. Will that award go to Vivian or Gabi? I’m going to say Gabi simply because she’s young and his death was so traumatic but Vivian could surprise us and be out cold the second she sees her son walk through the door – I wouldn’t blame her one bit.
What will this mean for the residents of Salem? Well, Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) is going to have to watch her back for one thing! Also, Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) might be in for a surprise visit from Vivian although what she would want with him right now I have no idea. But there was a time when Victor held a certain fascination for her, and who knows she could just want to catch up on old times! Yeah… right. Hm, I wonder what ever happened to Ivan? Her butler or whatever? Ooh, that proves I’m an old Days fan from way back. Anyway, looks like summer of 2020 will be sizzling in Salem and I can’t wait. Stay tuned!!!
