‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers for January 23rd reveal John Black (Drake Hogestyn) will be waiting for news, and it’s likely not good. Elsewhere, Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) has a problem. And it’s a familiar one for her. Elsewhere, Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) is in a bad place. Here’s what you need to know.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers, January 23: Waiting game
First, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers proved John was right to come up with that compromise—sort of. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) appeared to die in his arms on the roof of University Hospital. But it sounds like there was still some life in her yet, as Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) will do her best to save Marlena. All signs point to it not working, but being so close to help at least gave a chance of saving her.
Elsewhere, her loved ones are praying hard for good news, so it sounds like that chapel will be a busy place.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers, January 23: Same story, different day
Elsewhere, it’s no secret Allie’s relationship with Chanel DuPree (Raven Bowens) has had it’s complications. Mostly because Chanel was also married to Allie’s twin, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman). Last time, we saw the former spouses get a little too close while preparing Marlena’s surprise. The wording of the teasers makes it sound like Chanel will confess to that little almost-slip, because Allie won’t be happy about it. And she’ll have worries about the future. Sounds familiar, are we right? Maybe this time they can finally get this whole thing figured out once and for all.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers, January 23: A friend in need
Finally, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal Tripp has had a hard time lately. His stepmother’s dead, and his biological mother is at Bayview for a breakdown after committing horrible crimes. Obviously, he’s going to need a lot of support right now. Cue Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace), who’ll be there to comfort him. Although, given Wendy’s question to Johnny in the weekly, we doubt things will go as far as they almost did with Johnny and Chanel.
We’re a bit disappointed by that moment between Johnny and Chanel. We think he and Wendy are a lot of fun together. This whole thing could very well end the pair before they really got started. And with everything else all involved are already going through, romantic drama is the last thing anyone needs.
