Needless to say, the last two years have been very successful for Ron and the rest of his team at Days of Our Lives. As a matter of fact, he’s managed to help the highly-rated NBC soap snag several Emmys in 2018, including Outstanding Writing in a Drama Series and Outstanding Daytime Drama. If that weren’t enough, Days of Our Lives has always been renewed by the NBC network for its 55thseason.

Clearly, Ron is doing a very good job of working his writing magic as a lot of fans are very happy with his work. Interestingly enough, the same can’t be said about Mal Young and The Young and the Restless over at CBS. Even though the head scribe has announced that he is leaving the soap, a lot of fans and critics have expressed dismay over how things are being handled behind the scenes. As a matter of fact, a lot of people aren’t pleased to see so many veteran actors leaving Genoa City while the current storylines have been less than stellar. Many are hoping that the soap will take a new direction once Mal leaves.

Of course, Days of Our Lives fans have a lot to look forward to. There’s hope that Ben will be able to repair his reputation in Salem while rescuing Ciara and Charlotte from danger. Leo might discover who his biological father really is, while Rafe will return to Salem in a surprising scene that will keep fans on the edge of their seats. Viewers wll just have to tune in to find out more!
